The Opportunity

Due to ongoing growth, we are expanding our fleet and have a full-time position available. Safely Operating out of the one dedicated truck and inline with the road regulations and the companies safety standards. As part of the transport team you will handling the day to day container deliveries as well as many other adhoc activities.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operate the prime mover ensuring all good that have been loaded are correctly restrained
  • Conduct pre-start checks and maintain the vehicle in a safe and roadworthy condition
  • Follow all relevant road rules and regulations, and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and the transport allocator

What we're looking for

  • Valid Multi Combination (MC) driver's licence
  • Valid MSIC required, to gain access to Port Adelaide and Outer Harbour wharf's
  • Demonstrated experience operating a HAMMAR or Steelbro sideloader
  • Overseeing the unloading process at delivery sites, ensuring that goods are handled carefully, and that all delivery documentation is signed off appropriately.
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Good communication and customer service skills
