The Role:

We would like to invite interested candidates to submit their applications for the position of Full-Time Centre Clerk, based in Eagle Farm, QLD.

Hands on clerical role in a highly Customer focused Company, in this role you will be responsible to contact customers and make corrections to shipment delivery address to facilitate delivery. Respond to customer enquiries regarding delivery or attempted deliveries.

Greet customers exporting shipments at the counter and assist with all documentation and inspection of shipments.

UPS provides full training for all aspects of this role. 

This role also suits any applicant looking to start a career in the Transportation/Logistic field.

About this Role:

  • Full Time - Monday to Friday, hours to be between 8:00am and 4:00pm or 11:00am to 7:00pm depending on operational requirements & flexibility for overtime is required
  • Clerical duties within our Admin department
  • To maintain the professional image of UPS at all times
  • Update UPS systems and daily logs
  • Data entry, as well as phone management
  • Other daily tasks as specified by Operations Management

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Reliable and willing to work flexible hours
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task multiple projects and/or tasks at a time.
  • Positive and polite personality as customer service is a part of this role
  • Intermediate Computer Skills (incl MS Office applications, Excel)
  • Previous experience in the courier industry is an advantage, however all training will be provided.
  • Hands on role - some physical lifting of packages required
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
