Brindle Freight Services, a reputable and growing transport company based in Kembla Grange, is seeking an experienced and reliable Local Truck Driver to join our dedicated team. If you have held a Heavy Rigid Road Ranger License for at least 12 months, we want to hear from you

A Heavy Combination License is preferred but not required, past experience is also preferred but not mandatory as we provide training and support to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate a range of trucks for local transportation of goods.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured for safe transportation.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on assigned vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs, invoices, and proof of delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Heavy Rigid Road Ranger License is required, and the candidate must have held the license for at least 12 months.
  • Heavy Combination License is preferred but not required. We are willing to provide training for the right candidate.
  • Past experience as a truck driver is preferred but not mandatory. Training and support will be provided to suitable candidates.
  • Strong commitment to safety and excellent knowledge of local traffic regulations.
  • Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks.
  • Effective communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including occasional weekends and public holidays.
