Bennett's Towing is a second-generation family-owned and operated business based in Mudgee. We provide 24/7 accident towing, roadside assistance, and tilt tray transport for vehicles, equipment, caravans, motorcycles, and 20ft shipping containers and more. With a reputation built on safety, reliability, and local knowledge, we pride ourselves on providing a professional and community-minded service.

The Role:

We are looking for a Weekend Tilt Tray Tow Truck Driver to join our team. You'll be responsible for operating tilt tray vehicles to complete accident recoveries, breakdown towing, and general transport work across Mudgee and surrounding areas.

This role requires adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and a strong commitment to safety and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate tilt tray tow trucks to transport vehicles and equipment
  • Carry out breakdown, accident towing and recovery services
  • Complete required documentation accurately and promptly
  • Comply with all WHS, NVHR and NSW Fair Trading Tow Trucks regulations
  • Compliance with NTC Load Restraint guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and professional truck and appearance
  • Provide outstanding customer service during high-stress situations
  • Available for occasional after-hours and weekend shifts as needed

Requirements:

  • MR licence (essential)
  • NSW Tow Truck Driver Certificate (or willingness to obtain – we can assist), immediate start available if you have already have a NSW Tow Truck Driver Certificate
  • Mechanical aptitude or previous towing experience preferred
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance
  • Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Good physical fitness and communication skills
  • Local area knowledge of Mudgee and surrounds is an advantage
  • A common-sense approach to situations.
  • An ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
