We are seeking a passionate and experienced insurance professional to join our Commercial Claims team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the team leader and technical specialists in training, coaching, mentoring, and uplifting capability in managing claims across specialist products such as Property Liability, Injury Liability and Financial Lines. Your expertise will directly contribute to our strategic goal of enhancing technical decision-making capabilities while fostering the core competencies of the future.
What You'll Do
- Deliver tailored coaching and training programs based on insights from quality reviews, complaints processes, and customer feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
 - Collaborate with frontline leaders and technical specialists to develop and implement performance and development plans focused on technical excellence.
 - Design and integrate processes and learning frameworks that align with Commercial Claims business objectives, ensuring long-term effectiveness and sustainability.
 - Conduct capability reviews with senior claims officers, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
 - Leverage subject matter expertise to deploy appropriate learning strategies, minimizing operational disruptions while maximizing impact.
 
What You'll Bring
- Claims Management experience mandatory (Liability and/or Financial Lines)
 - Regulatory Risk and Compliance experience is desirable
 - Complaints handling experience is desirable
 - A focus on uplifting claims decision-making and enhancing customer outcomes through innovative coaching and mentoring
 - Advanced knowledge of general insurance principles and the end-to-end claims process
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
