YOUR NEW POSITION

Due to massive growth, we are seeking the services of more experienced Site Services Technicians (Mechanical Engineering) to join our NSW site projects team.

In this role you will be working on projects throughout New South Wales with major projects scheduled to commence throughout regional NSW, our companies projects consist of the overhaul and return to service of assets across the state's water and waste water networks. You will be part of a team dedicated to providing a turn-key solution including assets condition assessment, site removal, off-site and on-site overhaul through to re-installation and commissioning. The role has been developed to support the growth in our project sector. The role will include the day to day repair and upgrade, fabrication, construction, installation and maintenance, specialising in rotating machinery directly reporting to the Site Service's Supervisor.

RESPONSIBLITIES

• Travel to various locations across regional NSW to carry out maintenance and inspections on rotating equipment
• Ensure project day to day tasks are completed in the "best time and cost efficient" manner possible to meet desired delivery and completion dates
• Ensure adherence to OHS policies and procedures
• Ensure adherence to customer and internal policies and procedures
• Day to day administration task as requried
• Direct and delegate TA and Apprentice team labor when required
• Provide quality workmanship in accordance with Australian Standards

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Cert III in mechanical engineering or higher
• Fitter trade qualified preferred
• Dual Trade Electrical Fitter optional
• Preferably at least 4 years post trade experience
• Demonstrate an ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to work to tight tolerances
• Ability to read precision measuring equipment
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Good time management skills
• Able to work overtime as required
• Good communication skills
• Previous previous experience in the rotating equipment industry (water, power and industrial) preferred

DESIRED LICENSES

• WorkCover White/industry card
• Working at heights trained
• Confined space trained
• MR truck license
• High Risk work License Dogging

WORK LOCATION

• Lisarow (Main Service Centre)
• Remote NSW
• Candidate can be based out of Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle or the Hunter Valley

The candidate will be required to work out of the above locations as required along with project sites throughout NSW.

The successful applicant will be offered a competitive remuneration package based on experience and qualifications.

Casual position with overtime offered as required.
