Your new role

  • Overseeing all aspects of coal stockpile operations, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources
  • Leading a team of supervisors and operators, to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Managing budgets, reporting, and stakeholder communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a Project Manager or Site Manager role in mining or heavy industry (coal experience preferred)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of stockpile management
  • Ability to manage costs, schedules, and operational risk
  • Relevant tertiary or trade qualifications highly regarded
