About the OpportunitySupporting the Infrastructure Projects team to successfully deliver ARTC Infrastructure Projects through disciplined project management and engineering technical support to ensure the safe and timely delivery of capital infrastructure projects in SA/WA within project cost and quality objectives.
What are we looking for in you?
- Provide project engineering support in the different phases of project cycle commencing from project feasibility, design development, contractor procurement, construction, commissioning and handover of the project.
- Provide reports to the Project Manager on monthly costs, time and safety performance requirements for components of the project as required.
- Ensure project requirements are met in managing project interfaces with ARTC operations, corridor managers, external stakeholders including utility authorities, local councils, community and state agencies where required.
- Ensure fair and equitable workplace practices and behaviours are complied with, creating a discrimination free workplace in accordance with legislative requirements.
- At least 5 years proven experience in engineering maintenance, construction or project management a multi-disciplinary engineering or linear infrastructure environment
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
- Eligibility for membership of the Institute of Engineers Australia
- Sound knowledge of Railway systems and standards - track, civil and signalling.
As part of the application process, you'll be required to undergo pre-employment checks which might include checks on your criminal history, references from previous employment, psychometric testing, health or medical checks including drug and alcohol testing.
You will also need to show proof of eligibility to work in Australia.
