The Centres:

Junior Einsteins Nurturing Centre – Shell Heights is our newest service, recently rated as EXCEEDING the National Quality Standards. Shell Heights has been operating since July 2023, focusing on creating an inclusive environment for all our children.  This new state of the art centre is opened 52 weeks a year, catering for 125 children per day, aged 6 weeks – 6 years of age, from 6:30am – 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, closed on public holidays. Our new service consists of a 4-room centre, each with their own specially designed outdoor spaces with an additional 3 extra-curricular rooms to further extend upon children's learning; our creative Art Studio, the Children's Library and the Kid's Kitchen/ Science Lab.

We believe the educators within a service are the foundations and fundamental components of a centre. The Ganyi Room (0-2 Years) takes 24 babies a day, from the ages of 6 weeks up to 2 years. We are searching for an experienced, nurturing and dedicated Diploma Educator or Early Childhood Teacher to take upon the role of Room Leader. The features of the Ganyi Room includes their own outdoor space, filled with natural elements and resources to spark children's creativity and learning, as well as a fun filled indoor space with endless possibilities and opportunities.

The Room Leader position requires the successful candidate to support, guide and motivate the team of highly qualified educators within the Ganyi Room, leading the team by example, as well as ensuring open communication with the Approved Provider, Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader. The successful candidate will also provide guidance to mentor the trainees within the room, to support their growing knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and Laws and Regulations. The appointed persons is required to work collaboratively with all educators within the service, to support the everyday running of the centre by upholding strong communication and people skills to engage with families, as well as inspiring and motivating our other educators to create a powerful foundation for future successes in children's learning within our service. The appointed persons will be required to work within a collaborative work environment and continue to build and foster the relationship existing between the centre, our families and community overall. As a passionate educator/teacher who has a great understanding of the National Regulations and Law, NQF, EYLF and other relevant Early Childhood literature, the successful candidate will be committed to achieve positive outcomes for all children.

Essential Requirements:

• A Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor's Degree in Early Education, or working towards a Diploma or ECT qualification (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Experience as a Room Leader within 0 - 2 Years Room
• NSW Working with Children's Check
• Relevant Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk Certificate.
• First Aid Certificate along with Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate, or willing to complete.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisation skills.
• Excellent computer literacy skills

• An excellent understanding of the NQF, EYLF, National Regulations & Law, WH&S

• A strong understanding of the programming and planning cycle for children's learning.
