Paediatric Occupational Therapist | Flexible & Supportive Multidisciplinary Team | Dapto NSW

Love working with kids? Passionate about play, function, and making a real impact in a child's life? This might just be your dream OT role

At The Thrive Spot, we're a fun, passionate, and neuroaffirming paediatric clinic based in Dapto. We're on the lookout for full-time or part-time Occupational Therapists to join our growing multidisciplinary team. Whether you're an early career therapist or bring a few years' experience—if you love helping children thrive, we'd love to hear from you

Why Join The Thrive Spot?

Child-led caseloads, real flexibility:

Create your own schedule, choose clients based on your interests, and shape your clinical day the way you work best.

Low billables, high support:

We prioritise quality over quantity. That means realistic targets, plenty of time for documentation, and no late-night note writing.

Incredible admin & resource support:

You'll be backed by our friendly admin team, an overflowing resource library (yep, including Bluey & Minecraft gear), and access to assessments, sensory equipment and your own iPad.

Strong supervision & PD culture:

Fortnightly team catch ups, external PD budget, paid training days, and a custom learning plan tailored to your clinical goals.

Beautiful, purpose-built clinic:

Our clinic includes 5 therapy rooms, including two large sensory spaces, plus onsite parking and a collaborative team office.

Family-friendly, work-from-home options:

Need to start late, duck out for school pickup, or do your notes from the couch? We get it—we understand that we all have a life outside of work.

Team culture that actually cares:

We're known for our collaborative culture and genuine support. Expect coffee chats, shared laughs, and the occasional axe-throwing night

Your Role:

You'll work with neurodivergent children and young people aged 0–18, across a mix of clinic, home, school, and community settings. You'll be part of a collaborative team including speech pathologists and other allied health professionals, working closely with families to build function, confidence, and joy.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor or Masters in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • WWCC & NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Driver's license + car for community visits
  • A passion for paediatrics and family-centred care
  • A desire to work as part of a fun, flexible, and passionate team
Perks + Benefits:
  • Competitive salary with bonus incentives
  • Generous PD budget + paid training days
  • Regular social events + school holiday team days
  • Unlimited support & supervision
  • Flexibility to live your life outside of work
Sound Like You?
