To be effective, this role will work to support other teams in Professional Practice, the division as a whole, and at times College-led initiatives.
By combining analytical expertise with stakeholder engagement and a solutions-focused mindset, the Performance Analyst helps optimise program performance, measure member value, and position Professional Practice as a leader in delivering contemporary, impactful professional development services.
Key Accountabilities
- Design and maintain integrated, timely performance reporting systems that deliver consistent, automated insights at both program and portfolio levels.
- Build robust, fit-for-purpose data models and dashboards to evaluate program performance, measure member value, and track strategic objectives.
- Lead performance analysis of programs and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and innovation.
- Develop and apply forecasting and financial modelling to optimise program outcomes, resource allocation, and forward planning.
- Champion a data-informed culture across Professional Practice, building tools, workflows, and best-practice guidelines that support confident decision-making.
- Collaborate with program and product teams to define success metrics, develop hypotheses, and validate initiatives.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, to ensure compliance, accreditation readiness, and alignment with evolving requirements.
- Coordinate responses to government and regulatory consultations and support reporting for compliance and accreditation activities.
- Monitor trends and the competitive landscape to inform portfolio strategies and future opportunities.
- Identify and address delivery obstacles to improving performance measurement and reporting.
Essential Attributes
- 5+ years in performance analysis, business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering performance reporting, dashboards, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Proven ability to build and manage robust data models, integrate data from multiple sources, and perform advanced data analysis.
- Experience translating complex data sets into clear, actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Track record of evaluating programs, processes, or services to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.
- Experience in using financial modelling and forecasting techniques to inform planning and resource allocation.
- Strong experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, to support reporting, compliance, and performance outcomes.
- Competency in data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools) and familiarity with enterprise data platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present analytical findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
