About The OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team

We're looking for a team player with a passion for people and the drive to achieve outstanding results. This role partners with the organisation to attract, identify, source and secure the best available talent aligned to business demand.

We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, including working a 9-day fortnight.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build consultative relationships with internal stakeholders to align on attraction/sourcing strategies
  • Proactively source and identify top talent through various channels
  • Actively engage and maintain diverse talent pools for current and future roles
  • Provide timely updates and feedback to candidates, ensuring a positive experience
  • Represent BAE Systems at career events and exhibitions
  • Advise candidates on BAE's employment landscape, contracts, and benefits
  • Conduct necessary background and pre-employment checks
  • Uphold BAE Systems' brand through positive interactions
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement in recruitment

About YOU
You'll have:

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment (agency or in-house)
  • A passion for talent acquisition and an ability to connect top talent with opportunities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
  • Expertise in Talent Acquisition processes, tools, and best practices
  • A strategic mindset, including the ability to build future talent pipelines
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools
  • A strong focus on customer service and stakeholder management
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities with the ability to juggle multiple priorities with precision
  • High drive, autonomy, and collaborative teamwork skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to obtain a Baseline Defence Clearance
