We're looking for locals to join Walgett Shire Council as casual Water Meter Readers. This role is a great way to stay active, work outdoors, and lend a hand in keeping our essential water services running smoothly across Walgett and Lightning Ridge. With three key meter reading periods each year, it's a practical way to contribute to your community. This role involves short-term work (around two weeks, three times a year) reading water meters in Lightning Ridge or Walgett, with flexible scheduling to suit your availability.

• Experience working in a rural or regional context is highly desirable.
