About The Role
Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is recruiting Full-Time and Part-Time Administrative Officers to complement and enhance the current Emergency Department (ED) team. The Emergency Department Administration Officer will perform administrative functions in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to support effective patient care. Duties include collecting demographic details for accurate patient registration, interviewing patients for their financial election and processing admissions, discharging patients, and associated administrative duties.

Successful applicants will join a 24/7 rotating department, working a combination of weekday, weekend, and public holiday shifts. All shifts are 8 hours in duration and are rostered across a mix of morning (07:00–15:30), afternoon (15:00–23:30), and night (23:00–07:30) shifts.

  • The ability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster and willingness to consider urgent requests for coverage to ensure appropriate functioning of service.
