My Gateway recruits, employs and mentors young people (mostly school leavers) and places them into long term work and training with our clients across automotive construction, electrical, engineering, health, horticulture, local Govt, plumbing and more industries. THE ROLE
You will be responsible for sourcing candidates and connecting them with our clients. Specifically:-
Understanding the Role: Understand the clients and the role requirements.
Sourcing Candidates: Be externally focused and practical problem solver to find great candidates for the positions through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals and database.
Shortlisting/Screening/Interviewing: Identify the best applicants who meet the client's needs. Conduct phone and in-person interviews with candidates to assess their skills and suitability for job opportunities. Prepare candidate profiles and secure client interviews.
Candidate Engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with candidates, providing a high level of service and support throughout the recruitment process. Manage candidates' expectations, respond to their inquiries, provide feedback and update them on the application process. And best of all…make the job offer
Delighting clients: Generate repeat business and word of mouth referrals through great client relationships
Onboarding: Deliver weekly onboarding sessions for new recruits and see the life changing impact of your work.
Supervise your admin trainee: Supervise and coach your admin trainee as they support you with screening, interview booking, reference checking and general admin.

SKILLS
- Ideally you will have/be:-
- 2-3 years experience in an agency recruiter role, or equivalent
- Experience/exposure to VET sector
- Social media savvy in a recruitment context – fb community groups, Insta and TikTok
- Team player who takes initiative and ownership
- An energetic communicator that builds rapport with clients and candidates
