Change Manager –Permanent – NV1 - Canberra only

We are seeking an experienced Change Management Practitioner to support a major IT Service Management (ITSM) program  

 This role involves driving structured change across a complex environment, working closely with stakeholders and service providers to ensure seamless transitions with minimal disruption. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead and manage ITIL-aligned change management processes in large, complex environments.

  • Establish and oversee Change  protocols and approval hierarchies.

  • Coordinate with resolver teams and providers on scheduling to minimise service disruption.

  • Align change processes with SIAM (Service Integration and Management) governance frameworks.

  • Monitor impacts of changes on services and provide clear reporting to stakeholders.

  • Deliver stakeholder engagement, relationship building, and progress communication.

Skills & Experience 

  • Proven experience in business analysis, process design, and organisational change.

  • Strong background in Change Enablement within government or large enterprise.

  • Practical experience operating ITIL-aligned change management processes.

  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, reporting, and communication.

  • Familiarity with Service Transition, Release Management, SACM, and Service Continuity.

  • ITIL v4 Foundation (preferred).

  • 18–24 months' experience in a similar Technology Change role.
