Customer Service Representative

About the Role
Sealed Performance Batteries (SPB) is experiencing continued growth, and we're on the lookout for a motivated and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. Based at our office and warehouse in Cairns, you'll play a key role in supporting our broad product range and valued customer base.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person regarding product details and fitment guidance
- Processing incoming sales orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinating with the warehouse staff to ensure timely dispatch
- Understanding our distribution and market channels
- Utilising your strong computer skills to manage customer interactions and order systems
While not essential, a background in the Battery/ Automotive industry— particularly automotive batteries and associated ranges, which includes, truck, bus, golf cart, motorcycle, industrial and energy storage products—will be highly regarded.
About You
You're someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be proactive, flexible, and bring a positive, "can-do" attitude to everything you do.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a customer service or sales support role
- Automotive experience advantageous, but not essential
- Possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be adaptable and comfortable working in a small team
- Can adapt and take initiative in a fast-paced, growing business
