Job Title: Warehouse Team Member

Location: Wacol

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for performing a variety of manual and administrative tasks in a warehouse environment. This includes receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing and organizing inventory, maintaining a safe and clean work area and running CNC programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Receiving and Processing:

  2. Unload and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.

  3. Inspect goods for defects, damage, or discrepancies.
  4. Sort, label, and store received items in designated areas.
  5. Order Fulfillment:

  6. Accurately pick products from inventory based on order specifications.

  7. Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labelling and documentation.
  8. Coordinate with shipping companies for timely dispatch.
  9. Inventory Management:

  10. Conduct regular inventory counts and audits.

  11. Report any discrepancies or stock shortages to the Warehouse Manager.
  12. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system.
  13. Warehouse Maintenance:

  14. Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.

  15. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.
  16. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
  17. Administrative Tasks:

  18. Maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

  19. Prepare and submit reports on warehouse activities.
  20. Assist with other clerical duties as needed.
  21. CNC Operation

  22. Loading/unloading of panels onto the CNC

  23. Running 3-Axis CNC programs
  24. Cleaning the CNC

Qualifications:

  • Forklift license: License or willingness to obtain a license before commencing.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
  • Skills:

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.

  • Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills.
  • For the right candidate with a willingness to learn, full training will be provided on the CNC.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 20kg) regularly.
  • Capable of standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions within the warehouse.

Work Environment:

The Warehouse Team Member works in a dynamic warehouse environment, which may include exposure to loud noises, dust, and moving machinery. Safety equipment such as gloves and safety shoes may be required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to occasionally work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
