About the Role
Join our established pastry team where creativity meets opportunity for growth within this award-winning brand. Pastries have become a growing focus for Mörk, and in our new, much larger facility, there's significant room to expand what we do. Working with rotating and seasonal pastry specials, you'll create using the highest quality ingredients while leading the continued development of our successful operations across our five venues and wholesale network.
Located right in the heart of Melbourne's CBD with the Flagstaff Gardens directly across the road, our venue is flooded with natural light and features an adjoining café window at the front—perfect for chefs to enjoy a specially brewed coffee at their whim while taking in the vibrant city atmosphere.
What You'll Do
- Lead & Inspire: Build and mentor a passionate kitchen team with genuine opportunities for growth and development, while fostering a positive, supportive work environment
- Innovate & Create: Design seasonal menus and rotating pastry specials that showcase our commitment to quality, sustainability and creativity
- Scale & Expand: Take our existing pastry operations to new heights in a much larger, well-equipped facility designed for growth
- Supply Excellence: Oversee operations supplying Mörk's five venues and our proud list of aligned cafés through our established wholesale program
- Collaborate & Grow: Work closely with other roles across the business with opportunities for professional development and business expansion within our growing brand
