YOUR ROLE

As an Operations Manager in our Contract Logistics division based at our Truganina (Archer Rd) facility, you'll play a key leadership role overseeing warehouse operations that support one or more major customer accounts.

Reporting to the Contract Manager, you'll lead an on-site operations team that may include multiple Operations Supervisors, Inventory Controllers, Operations Administrators and Storepersons. Together, you'll ensure safe, efficient and high-quality logistics and supply chain services that meet customer expectations and CEVA's operational standards.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

Oversee daily warehouse operations to achieve safety, service, cost and productivity targetsLead, coach and develop your team, fostering engagement, accountability and continuous improvementEnsure compliance with CEVA's safety, quality and operational standards through regular audits and reviewsDeliver accurate inventory management, reporting and analysis to support operational decision-makingCollaborate with the Site Manager and functional leads to optimise resource planning and workflow efficiencyMaintain close communication with customers to ensure service levels are met and improvement opportunities identifiedChampion CEVA's safety leadership principles and create an environment where everyone goes home safe.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You're a confident and hands-on logistics professional with proven experience leading warehouse teams and delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced 3PL environment.

Experience managing 3PL contracts and leading teams across warehouse operationsComprehensive understanding of logistics and supply chain processes and systemsStrong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach and motivate othersExcellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-first mindsetDemonstrated commercial acumen and ability to interpret operational and financial metrics.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
