Heavy Vehicle or Plant Mechanics

What You'll Do

  • Service, maintain, and repair heavy plant machinery, trucks, and diesel engines
  • Diagnose faults and provide breakdown support in the field
  • Operate and maintain asphalt and earthmoving equipment (e.g., stabilisers, skid steers, loaders, pavers, spray trucks)
  • Contribute to a safe, collaborative, and high-performing team
  • Travel to sites as required and support both workshop and field service

What You'll Bring

  • Trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle or Plant Mechanic
  • Forklift Licence (required) | MR/HR Truck Licence (preferred)
  • Proven experience with heavy equipment, trucks & diesel engines
  • Strong hydraulic and auto-electrical knowledge (advantageous)
  • Excellent fault-finding and breakdown support skills
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed
  • Team-first attitude with a strong commitment to Zero Harm
  • Flexibility for day and night shifts (night shift preferred)
