Tableland Fertilizer is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team based in Mareeba Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will be involved in customer service, sales, picking, packing, receival and dispatch of goods to and from the store.

Role details:

  • Full-time Position
  • Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pm
  • Every second Saturday from 8am - 12pm

Tasks and duties:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Loading customer vehicles
  • Process requests and prepare orders
  • Sort and place items on shelves or in bins
  • Prepare customer orders of dispatch
  • Count inventory and record data
  • Load and unload trucks and receive goods
  • Inspecting and reporting damage to goods
  • Moving heavy pallets and goods using a forklift
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Clean and tidy work area regularly

To be successful, you will have:

  • Forklift Licence or ability to obtain.
  • Drivers Licence is required
  • Customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently

  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Able to work quickly and methodically
  • A safety-conscious attitude to your work

Tableland Fertilizer is a family owned agricultural business with affiliation to CRT. We operate stores on the Atherton Tablelands in both Mareeba and Atherton.
