Due to internal progression Runaway Bay Tavern is expanding their team to welcome a new Assistant Venue Manager to our great local venue our brand-new sports bar and beer garden is open with many more exciting things to come in 2026. The successful candidate must have proven hospitality management experience in a comparable venue and exceptional customer service and presentation skills. If you are looking to take the next step in your career to become a leader and progress, then this is the venue for you 

We are offering: 

  • Generous Salary $78,000 - $80,000 + Plus Super

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role a similar venue
  • Strong experience in Gaming & Wagering 
  • Exceptional food & Beverage knowledge
  • Exceptional time management & organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Ability to work nights & weekends
  • Capacity to work in a team environment while leading from the front
  • Current RSA, RSG, RMLV & Approved Managers license 
  • CLO - Desirable not necessary
