We are partnering with State Government to hire 2 Cyber Security Project Managers

1x PM role focused on the delivery of the IGA and PAM project.

1x PM role focused on the delivery of a new Cyber NSW mandatory requirement related to the NSW Cyber Security Policy.

Key Accountablities

  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of strategic ICT/ Cyber projects that support organisational objectives and the enterprise-level transformational change.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the project cycle for concurrent projects, including developing project plans, identifying and coordinating resources, managing budgets and meeting reporting requirements to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, within budget and in line with approved project management methodology.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Develop and monitor all aspects of project implementation, including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, project impact and quality measures, to identify and address issues, assess project progress and effectiveness, and achieve project outcomes.
  • Prepare a suite of project management documents in alignment with the Digital Information Office (DIO) PMO, including project planning documentation, risk registers and project status reports and dashboards to support the Program Manager and Cyber Security Office (CSO).
  • Identify and assess key project and implementation risks and develop mitigation strategies to handle risks throughout the lifecycle of projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of departmental stakeholders, including SME's, Change Manager and the Communication Lead, to support the delivery of an effective communications strategy based on the DIO targeted audience.
  • Experience in delivering Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) projects is an advantage.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated project management, analytical and time management skills and the ability to coordinate, plan and prioritise activities to ensure that agreed standards, milestones and budgets are met.
  • Sound knowledge of information management principles, with the ability to apply Departmental policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated, relevant professional experience using project management methodologies, preferably including a recognised qualification in PRINCE2, or PMP and agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cybersecurity projects with exposure to the implementation of NSW CSP, ISO27001 or NIST CSF 2.0 controls. Experience in delivering TPRM, IAM and PAM projects is an advantage.
  • Successfully transitioning to Operations is a Key Performance Indicator for this role.
