Townsville, Queensland, Australia ETS Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

We are looking for experienced Field Operators to help us implement essential preventative measures, such as controlled burns and vegetation management. If you have the right skills and a passion for safety and environmental protection, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement preventative measures like controlled burns and vegetation management to reduce wildfire risk.
  • Conduct weed mitigation tasks across various field environments.
  • Safely operate and maintain machinery and equipment
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient, timely, and effective project completion.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in fire and weed management.

Skills & Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Open manual drivers licence

Desirable:

  • Construction White Card
  • ACDC licence
  • Bushfire experience/training
  • Truck licence
  • Front deck/Zero turn mowing experience
  • Defence pass
  • First aid & CPR
