An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Platform Architect to join a global software organisation committed to delivering innovative, high-quality solutions. This newly created role sits at the centre of a growing architecture practice, bringing together Cloud, Data, and Platform disciplines to design and deliver scalable, modern solutions across a diverse product suite.

As the Platform Architect, you'll work closely with customers, engineers, and product teams to design and implement architectures that balance innovation, maintainability, and performance. This is a hands-on, collaborative role where your technical insight, design expertise, and mentoring will directly shape the future of software platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
  • Lead and contribute to technical workshops and solution design discussions.
  • Design scalable, reusable, and maintainable software architectures.
  • Contribute to the hands-on implementation of software solutions for new products, as well as migrating existing products to new architecture paradigms.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support and embed best practices in software development across teams.

What you'll bring:

  • You're a skilled architect who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and thrives on designing solutions that bridge business needs with technical delivery.
  • Proven experience in software or platform architecture, ideally across multiple products.
  • Strong hands-on technical expertise in modern cloud and platform technologies (AWS Preferred)
  • A track record of designing and implementing scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Experience migrating legacy systems to modern architectures.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to mentor, guide, and influence development teams.
  • Collaborative mindset, with a passion for building solutions that last.
