State Swim Osborne Park is searching for a passionate Assistant Operations Manager who's excited to switch gears between steering the day-to-day business and celebrating the hands-on progress of every child mastering a new swimming skill.

About You

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and support a passionate team of up to 60 staff
  • Oversee daily operations with precision and care
  • Deliver the State Swim program to the highest standard
  • Ensure every swimmer and parent enjoys an exceptional experience
  • Balance strategic management with hands-on involvement in the swim school
  • Celebrate the small wins — like a child conquering their first lap
  • Foster a positive, high-performing team culture

What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of management experience in operations, retail, or site leadership
- Experience rostering and managing casual staff
- Swimming industry experience and qualifications (a big plus)
- A love for working with children and delivering standout service
- Adaptability, initiative, and a problem-solving mindset
- Strong organisational skills and tech confidence (Microsoft Office suite)
- Availability to work one weekend shift per week
