What You'll Be Doing

  • Undertake administrative tasks including but not limited to typing of letters/policies, accommodation allocation, telephone calls, mailing, filing, record compilation, calendar bookings, liaising with Remote Health Sites, travel/vehicle applications and bookings, data entry and filing, producing reports and correspondence to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and order stock, stationery, and maintain linen stock purchasing, delivering, sorting, distributing and auditing stock.
  • Provide administrative assistance to meetings, including scheduling, agenda and document collation, and minute creation and dissemination and assist with scheduling and administration of education and in-service sessions for the Assets, Facilities, & Support Service teams.

How To Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:

  • Certificate III in office administration and/or recent administration experience, preferably within a Healthcare setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to interact and deal confidently and courteously with clients and health professionals.
  • Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the MS Office Suite including accurate data entry skills, and a working knowledge of roster and finance systems.
  • Demonstrated strong organisational and time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Current license and the ability to travel across the District, potentially including overnight stays.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability and knowledge in all Work Health & Safety matters.
