Overview
The transformation you will experience.
The Digital Activation Director role is responsible for ensuring the best possible ROI for a client's digital media investment, as well as responsibility for the workflow and quality control of the Spark Foundry Search and Social product. The Digital Activation Director is required to work in a collaborative manner with the Leadership team, as well as PMX, and other client, planning disciplines to ensure that we are providing leading solutions that deliver effective campaigns and media results that meet (or exceed) set digital benchmarks/KPIs. This role must ensure that the clients investment delivers against their business objectives whilst also building exceptionally strong relationships with them. The Digital Activation Director is highly competent in supporting, coaching and training their team, being accountable for their output

Your Scope Will Include

  • Pro-actively manage the development of media initiatives which satisfy client objectives within the given timeframes.
  • Full ownership of output from your team across all clients, ensuring no basic errors and strong performance. This includes: Working with the team to deliver best in class client brief responses.
  • Full financial responsibility of your clients sets, including forecasting and invoicing accuracy.
  • Overseeing implementation within your team, and ensuring campaigns deliver against client KPIs.
  • Development of best-in-class playbooks and market leading, first party tools.
  • Market overview summaries.
  • Responding to, and presenting new business pitches
  • Developing strong working relationships internally, externally and with senior clients
  • Supporting your teams development
  • Working closely with managers to ensure quality control processes are adhered to. And identifying issues and streamlining where necessary.
  • Sharing of knowledge, innovations and insights with the wider agency, as well as contributing to PR and opinion pieces externally.
  • Delivers thought leadership on all accounts, developing with ADAM's/Managers best in class strategies to deliver on clients objectives.
  • Strives to bring industry leading thinking, including working with Google and Facebook for first in market initiatives.

What type of person will be successful in this role

  • Preferably a university degree or higher education qualifications.
  • Advertising agency experience is an advantage
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of Search Engine and Social Media marketing, backed by relevant experience.
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of Australian media landscape.
  • Highly proficient in the following Office platforms: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience in working on new business pitches
  • Develops a leadership role and professional relationships with internal teams, media partners & clients.
  • A leader that is inspiring, collaborative and enjoys mentoring, coaching, training and motivating their team as well as managing upwards
  • Confident and engaging interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, able to guide and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail that is second to none.
  • Has a curious nature with a willingness for continuous learning, keeping up to date with industry updates, new betas and brings testing ideas to clients
  • A good leader that is inspiring, collaborative and enjoys motivating and developing their team.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Able to think creatively, laterally and conceptually
