Join our team as a hands-on
QA Lead
to mentor a talented team while ensuring our software meets the highest standards. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with product owners and developers to understand requirements and technical approaches, resolve quality issues, and champion continuous improvement. Alongside leadership responsibilities, you'll actively participate in testing, develop and execute test plans, and guide your team toward success.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the QA team to deliver high-quality software products and maintain effective QA processes.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites alongside manual testing activities.
  • Create and execute comprehensive test plans and cases, ensuring thorough coverage and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues.
  • Mentor and train QA team members, fostering skill development and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor quality metrics and drive process improvements, ensuring effective resource allocation and communication across teams.

Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years previous experience in software QA and 2+ years in a management/leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, testing methodologies, and QA best practices.
  • Able to quickly adapt to new systems and perform physical testing alongside management duties.
  • Proficiency with QA tools and technologies, including Jira (project management), CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, test case management, and automation testing (Playwright).
  • Experience in security and vulnerability testing, API testing (Postman or similar), and some performance/load testing.
  • Knowledge of SQL is highly regarded and ability to define and implement QA metrics and KPIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with proven experience managing QA teams and projects in dynamic environments.
  • A relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
