Position Summary
Seeking a new challenge? Then Woolpert is seeking you Woolpert is hiring a Survey Manager to join our Survey team at our Macquarie Park office. This position reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the survey business, including the direction, coordination and safety of survey staff.

Your New Role
As a Survey Manager at Woolpert, you will:

• Manage client relationships and expectations to ensure successful survey project delivery.
• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of survey projects, including budgeting, technical design, and subcontractor management.
• Collaborate with account management, business development, and operations teams to develop and implement best practice technical solutions.
• Supervise and mentor survey personnel, including performance management, skills assessments, and professional development.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

• University qualification or TAFE Diploma in Surveying
• Hold a valid driver's license
• 5 years' experience, managing survey field teams, especially in remote GPS / TLS / MLS / UAV / UAS surveys.

Preferred Skills And Abilities

• Registered Surveyor NSW
• Sound practical land survey experience in either geodetic or engineering surveying in support of the resource industry and infrastructure development.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Have a comprehensive understanding of best practice survey techniques and be thoroughly competent in the use of survey equipment and software systems.
• Comfortable advising, and consulting to, all clients and staff across a wide range of issues
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Ability to liaise with all levels of staff and management
