Entec is a New Zealand-owned business established in 1982, specializing in Instrumentation, Electrical, Rotating Equipment, Gas Detection and manufacturing of swithboards/panels and moblie plantrooms.

The company delivers projects, services, and products to industrial clients across New Zealand and the Pacific. Operating from offices in Auckland, Taranaki and now recently opened a branch in Queensland, Australia - Entec serves clients wherever they are located.

Brief Role Description

This is a potential FIFO on-site role for a Project Engineer.

The Project Engineer will support the Project Manager in tasks such as manage and oversee engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards. Day-to-day tasks include project planning, technical assessments, resource allocation, progress tracking and effective coordination among different project stakeholders.

Regular communication with the Project Manager and team members will be essential for ensuring successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Project Management/Project Engineering and Project Planning
  • Proficiency in Electrical Engineering, including technical analysis and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration, client interaction and team management
  • Ability to work effectively on-site and adapt to project needs in a dynamic environment
  • Proven experience & skills
  • Previous experience in industrial projects is highly advantageous
  • Familiarity with compliance, safety standards and technical equipment control is a plus
