Entering an exciting new phase of growth for the organisation, we are currently seeking an experienced Regional Manager to join our high achieving team based in Melbourne VIC. The primary objective of the Regional Manager – Victoria is to oversee the company operations within the designated region. This includes planning, developing and managing sales activities, promoting new products, achieving sales budgets, forecasting inventory requirements and monitoring the operational performance of each branch in the region.
The role must lead and manage the teams within the region to ensure opportunities and activities are maximised to provide a positive outcome for all stakeholders. With clear ambitions for further growth, we're excited to welcome a Regional Manager to the team who can contribute to our vision and grow with the team further.
This is a permanent, full time role offering an excellent $$$ salary and yearly bonus. Interviews are available immediately.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct the sales teams within the region to achieve sales targets including volume mix and margin levels for product sales
- Compile business plans, highlighting growth strategies for the region
- Work in conjunction with the Supply Chain Manager – APAC to manage stock control systems for optimal efficiency within the region
- Manage and grow the service team to meet customer expectations and grow our service offering.
- Promote the sale of all products and services through direct representation or in a support role for Distribution, OEM's and major direct supply accounts
- Provide clear direction and objectives for staff
- Review and recommend pricing and determine discount structures to maximise gross profit for the company and the achievement of the stated target accounts in accordance with company protocols
- Preparation of the yearly sales budget for the region
- Co-ordinate customer visits with Business Development Specialists, including major customers, ensuring their awareness of new products, marketing strategies and developments
- Establish and maintain top level contact with the management of existing and potential customers
WHAT YOU BRING
- Have tertiary qualifications in Business Management / Sales & Marketing, preferred
- 8+ years' experience in Sales Management roles or similar with an emphasis on driving new business
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets through influencing, communication, and relationship skills
- Demonstrated application of sales techniques and frameworks
- End-to-end contract management experience highly desirable
- Ability to manage and lead a high performing and outcomes orientated team
