The Role

FKG's Civil Division is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our progressive, dynamic, family-owned operation. Based in our Windsor Office, you'll be part of our friendly, collaborative, and high performing pre-contracts team, and play a key role in managing and coordinating documentation that supports the tendering and bid process for a diverse range of projects including civil infrastructure, renewable energy, mining, gas and power stations.

This role offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time candidates encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document Management: Coordinate, maintain, and structure all tender and pre-contract documents to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with internal and client requirements

  • Tender Support: Manage document flow during bid preparation and ensure the pre-contracts team has up-to-date information at every stage

  • Quality Control: Perform regular reviews and checks of documentation to maintain version control and alignment with FKG's quality standards

  • Collaboration: Work closely with estimators, engineers, and project managers to support submission of high-quality tenders

  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the refinement of document control and tendering procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy

  • Archiving: Organise and archive pre-contract documentation to ensure smooth handover to project delivery teams upon award

Role Requirements

To be considered, candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role;

  • Strong administrative skills;

  • Excellent attention to detail;

  • The ability to plan and organise your workload to meet project timeframes and deadlines;

  • Capacity to build strong successful, internal and external relationships;

  • Intermediate to advanced level computer skills with specific proficiency in Microsoft Suite;

  • Previous exposure to Document Control within the civil or construction industry (desirable)
