Elite Tennis Academy based out of Mornington Tennis Centre is seeking coaches to join our expanding team.

We operate out of a beautiful ITF Clay Court Facility, with 12 pro clay courts under lights, and are located in Mornington, a coastal town on the Mornington Peninsula.

Our team places high importance on having a passion for coaching and a desire to continue to improve our delivery of tennis both on and off the court.

We are advertising for coaches to fill positions in either a Performance Coaching Position or a Development Coaching Position (more than one position is available for the right candidates).

Performance Coaching Position:

The on-court coaching hours will be a predominately be working within our Squad Program and private lessons.

  • The coach must be able to write lesson plans for the program, showing progression programs for the players.
  • The coach will be required to complete tournament planning for the players within the program they work with.
  • Minimum 5 years coaching experience
  • Minimum 2 year coaching performance players

The coach will also be required to work in additional programs such as Hot Shots, Adult Coaching & Holiday Clinics. The coach will also be required to assist with tournament delivery – training will be provided.

Development Coaching Position Vacant:

The on-court coaching hours will predominately be working within our Hot Shots (grassroots) tennis program, teens tennis and private lessons.

  • Within the Hot Shots program the coach will be required to work with players aged 3-12 years
  • The coach must be able to write lesson plans for the program, showing progression programs for the players.
  • The coach must have an excellent personality and communication with kids of this age.
  • Minimum 3 years coaching experience

The coach will also be required to work in additional programs such as Adult Coaching & Holiday Clinics. The coach will also be required to assist with tournament delivery – training will be provided.

  • Show initiative and creativity

Salary / Benefits

  • Base salary of  $900 per week (for 20 hours per week)
  • Additional $45 per hour for any hours worked over 20 hours per week
  • Coach will have the option to work more than 20 hours per week if desired by the coach - giving the coach flexibility to choose the number of hours worked above 20 hours per week. (eg coaches can choose to work 30hours if they wish, or stay on the base hours of 20 hours per week).

  • We have ability to sponsor coaches on the 408 Visa
  • Pathway to permanent residency available through our company
  • Housing Option may be available (a room in an academy share house)
