About the role

North Line Copper is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to manage copper processing operations at our Lady Annie Mine in Mount Isa, Queensland.

This full-time role operates on a 14 days on / 14 days off roster and is responsible for overseeing the daily performance and efficiency of our copper processing plant.

We are looking for a professional with a proven track record in a similar leadership role within the mining and resource processing sector.

Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience.

What We're looking for:

Proven experience in a supervisory role

Ability to lead teams, optimize plant performance, and ensure compliance

  • Extensive experience in mining operations, particularly in processing facilities.
  • Strong understanding of Solvent Extraction, Electrowinning, and Heap Leach processes.
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to manage maintenance activities, personnel, and production targets effectively.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and cost management.
  • Supervising and coordinating the activities of process plant operators and maintainers to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective production
  • Monitoring production, quality and environmental parameters and taking appropriate action to optimise plant performance
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing process optimisation initiatives
  • Providing technical guidance and support to the process team, and contributing to the development of standard operating procedures
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with North Line Copper's health, safety and environmental policies
  • Participating in incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
  • Preparing production reports and other documentation as required
  • Proficient in the use of computerised process control and reporting systems
  • Current driver's license and ability to work rotating shifts
