Remuneration: Band 2 salary from $73,668.75 per annum plus superannuation and a fortnightly RDO
Location: Hoppers Crossing based
About the role
The position reports to the Leaning Hand Sports Fields and is diverse in its range of daily tasks within a massive growth area. The Sports Field Team Member is part of a small team who are very supportive of each other and very passionate about what they do.
What your day will look like
- General mowing and parks maintenance duties
- Taking responsibility for the operation and maintenance of small and medium plant, tools and equipment
- Undertaking works with minimum disruption to the public
- Making sure that works are done in a safe manner to both employees' and the public
What you will bring
- Demonstrated ability in the use of maintenance tools, equipment and medium plant
- Current Victorian driver's licence (Required)
- First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
- Licensed to operate a Front-End Loader (Desirable)
- Sound communication skills for dealing with members of the public
- A responsible and punctual approach to the role
- A keen interest and understanding of sports turf and sporting clubs
