Crown Property Services are seeking a knowledgeable and capable Cleaning Team Leader to lead and support our cleaning team in a school environment. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with experience in commercial cleaning, with a good work ethic.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Cleaning Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading your team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and motivate a team of cleaners to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
  • Maintain and promote best practice cleaning procedures.
  • Oversee daily operations and allocate tasks effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and uphold an eye for detail.
  • Provide guidance, training, and feedback to team members.
  • Collaborate with facility management and custodial staff to maintain secure, respectful and professional working relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, incidents, and compliance reporting.

About You:

  • Previous experience as a cleaning team leader or supervisor, or ready to take the next step in your career.
  • Strong people and communication skills with the ability to manage and support a team.
  • Proven knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Reliable, proactive, and detail-focused.
  • A solid understanding of WHS standards and safe work practices.

· Able to document and report incidents or maintenance needs clearly and accurately.
