Join a growing team supporting the operation and maintenance of critical processing equipment that keeps production running smoothly. We're seeking qualified Mechanical Fitters and Electricians who are proactive, safety-focused and ready to contribute to a reliable, high-performing plant.

About the Role

As part of the maintenance team, you'll work hands-on across a range of fixed plant, processing and material handling equipment to ensure the safe and efficient production of quality salt. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on mobile and fixed plant
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out timely repairs to minimise downtime
  • Supporting plant upgrades, shutdowns and improvement projects
  • Collaborating with operations teams to maintain consistent production levels
  • Upholding strict safety and environmental standards at all times

About You

We're looking for experienced tradespeople who take pride in their work and thrive in an industrial environment. You will bring:

  • Relevant trade qualification and licence

  • Mechanical Fitters: Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent

  • Electricians: Current QLD Electrical Licence (or state equivalent)
  • Experience in manufacturing, processing, or heavy industry — ideally salt, minerals, or similar environments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work autonomously
  • A proactive attitude toward safety, maintenance and continuous improvement
  • Willingness to work on a rotating roster or call-out roster if required
