Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Machine Operator – Digital Printer (Afternoon shift) to join their manufacturing team in a temporary capacity (with a view to permanency and a strong site EBA for the right candidate).

About the Role

This position involves operating advanced digital printing machinery to produce high-quality packaging solutions. You'll play a key role in ensuring that all prints meet client specifications and maintain our high standards of quality.

On-the-job training will help you hit the ground running and excel in the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proof files and printed materials to ensure alignment with client specifications
  • Operate and monitor digital printing machinery
  • Perform quality checks throughout the printing process

  • Swap out and manage ink supplies as needed to ensure consistent print quality

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with workplace health, safety, and environmental standards

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in digital printing or a similar manufacturing environment (experience with cardboard packaging is a bonus)
  • Great attention to detail and quality control.
  • Basic computer skills for operating digital printing software and managing job files
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues
  • A team player with a "can-do" attitude who thrives under pressure
  • Commitment to full-time hours, Monday to Friday starting at 3pm
  • Autocad experience is a bonus (not mandatory)
