The Role

We're looking for a motivated and skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Dandenong South, Victoria. In this full-time position, you'll be at the heart of our production process, operating a variety of machinery to produce high-quality uPVC windows and doors. This role offers the chance to start with foundational tasks, gradually advancing to more complex operations as you grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain various production machines to fabricate uPVC windows and doors.
  • Perform precise cutting, drilling, trimming, and shaping of materials as required.
  • Ensure machines are set up correctly and troubleshoot any issues to minimise downtime.
  • Adhere to safety standards and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications before they move to final inspection.

What We're Looking For

  • Technical Aptitude: You're comfortable with machinery and have a knack for understanding and operating complex equipment. (CNC machinery operation preferred)
  • Attention to Detail: Precision is your priority, and you ensure every piece meets our exacting standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency with power tools and machinery is essential. Familiarity with uPVC or aluminum window and door fabrication is an advantage.
  • Education: High School qualification (Year 10+) or equivalent is preferred; trade certification is a plus.
  • Safety Awareness: A solid understanding of health and safety regulations within the manufacturing sector is required.
