About the role

The Counter Sales / Warehouse Operator roleis a full-time position, based at Lonsdale, SA. Reporting to the Store Manager you will join our Trade Centre delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.

In this role you will:

• Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers in store and in the warehouse.
• Stock movements and the maintenance of stock.
• Loading trucks with customer orders for distribution and comply with safety requirements.
• Unloading inbound orders of stock.
• Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift, or manually as required.
• Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to.
• Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping.
• Contributes to achievement of store revenue and margin budgets.

Your hours will follow an alternating weekly shift pattern: one week from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, and the next week from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm

• Experience working in a fast paced and busy environment.
• Possess a strong work ethic.
• To be able to approach, connect and confidently interact with customers.
• An eagerness to learn about products and services.
• Must have excellent customer service & communication skills.
• Must be confident and well-presented when dealing with customers.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Forklift licence is desirable or willing to obtain one.
