Your new role:
As a Mental Health Clinician within the Logan Child and Youth Mental Health Service, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based mental health care tailored to children and young people experiencing severe and complex mental health challenges. Your core responsibilities will include:
Managing a caseload efficiently while ensuring accurate patient records, reporting, and compliance with clinical and legislative standards.
Conducting detailed clinical assessments, providing therapeutic interventions, and supporting discharge planning in a collaborative, interprofessional team setting.
Supervising and educating observational and undergraduate students, as well as allied health assistants.
Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to research activities under the guidance of senior staff.
About you:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate social worker who thrives in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment and is passionate about improving mental health outcomes for children and youth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Proven ability to deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health assessments and interventions within a child and youth mental health setting.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within interprofessional teams and engage with clients, families, and external stakeholders.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and the capacity to develop clinical expertise and leadership skills.
A proactive approach to service improvement and the ability to contribute to clinical education and quality initiatives.
