Operational Technology Solutions (OTS) is seeking an ETL specialist to provide services in the electricity distribution domain.

Our customer requires someone who can demonstrate long experience and skills with:

  • ETL processes

Additional skills required include:

  • code conversion from Postgres to Oracle SQL
  • writing complex functions and procedures

Skills required must include:

  • ETL processes
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL databases and programming
  • Minimum 5-7 years of SQL database programming experience
  • PL/pgSQL (Postgres) / PL/SQL (Oracle)
  • Advanced Python programming
  • Minimum 5-7 years of Python programming experience
  • BI tool sets and dashboard writing

NB Relevant experience in the Utilities Industry, in particular, Electricity Distribution, is the strong preference

Additional Skills that may be of interest:

- NodeJS / Java / Tableau/ Linux (Redhat + Oracle Linux).

Education /Qualifications:

  • Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering and Computer/Data Science
  • Either Electrical Engineering or Computer/Data Science degree is acceptable

You should be able to demonstrate:

  • strong written and oral communications
  • excellent analytical and problem solving skills
