In this role, you'll:
Take a proactive role as a construction Site Manager, leading teams to deliver critical track infrastructure renewal and maintenance projects.
As a key member of the project team, you'll be a hands-on leader, managing construction sites in high-risk environments with a strong focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery.
In this role, you'll support a variety of track works, which may include:
- Track reconditioning
- Track reconstruction
- Track partial re-sleepering
- Rail fastening repair and renewal
You'll set the standard on site, ensuring safe work practices while driving progress to meet project scope, timelines, and quality expectations.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity within the Track Remediation team in Major Works.

About you
You're an experienced Construction Manager or Site Manager, confident in leading teams in high risk, high demand brownfield railway environments. You thrive on collaboration and are skilled at working with both internal stakeholders and external partners to drive project outcomes.
You have a solid understanding of plant and equipment and the ability to interpret complex drawings to plan and deliver works safely and efficiently.
You're comfortable working closely with the project management, planning, environmental and heritage teams to ensure projects are delivered with care and compliance.
You enjoy being on-site and value the camaraderie of a tight-knit team. This role is is a mix between site and office, with a strong team culture supported by regular, in-person catchups every two weeks.
