We are much ‘More Than Just a Rug Store’ as our original positioning statement would suggest. Sure we sell Decorator Rugs - and plenty of them, in fact we’ve added that touch of style to thousands of living spaces over the years But it doesn’t end there, we’re also a highly successful retailer of Pre-Finished Timber and Laminate Flooring, Wall-to-Wall Carpet, Custom-Made Window Shutters and Blinds as well

**Your New Role**

We pride ourselves in the design and quality of products and our focus on customers. Where our customers purchase home improvement products that require installation (such as flooring, blinds or shutters), it is our installers who complete the customer’s DecoRug experience. As such, our installation team is an extension of our sales team and are core to our business.

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will be leading our installer team nationally for both Retail customers and for the Builders division. The purpose of this role is ensure installations are of high-quality workmanship and that our customers consistently receive the best service from the installer team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing installers across NSW, VIC, QLD and SA
- Oversee installers during the installation process ensuring quality and WHS procedures are met through to practical completion and handover to the retail customers and/or building site supervisor.
- Onboarding of new installers (e.g. contracts, induction and training)
- Continuous development of installers by providing training and feedback, ensuring service standards are met
- Act as a liaison between customers, internal teams and installers

**About You**
- Proven experience in a similar role (Installation Manager/Site Supervisor etc), preferably with trade background (carpet/timber flooring, blind or shutter installations)
- Supervisory experience with ability to follow through
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Passion for the trade, customer service and pride in delivering exemplary workmanship consistently
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and training (in technical skills, processes and service standards)
- A clear and consistent communication style, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
- This role will see you travel across the states on a reasonable rotation and spend time onsite for quality checks, so ability and willingness to travel is essential.
- There will also be administration work involved, so a good working knowledge of computers and technology will be necessary. Your primary location will be NSW and you will be based in our head office in Auburn when not onsite or travelling.
