Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a proven Civil Engineer to join our Civil team in Brisbane. This opportunity provides exposure to a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects across the transport, water, defence and mining sectors and the ability to engage in a variety of tasks that span various different clients and sub-disciplines each day.

How you'll make a differenc

  • Planning and design of civil engineering infrastructure including roads & transport, stormwater assets (quantity and quality), services/utilities, earthworks
  • Work across a range of projects from technical specifications to reporting, quantity and cost estimates.
  • Support the preparation of tenders and proposals.
  • Collaborate with a large number of professionals across a range of teams and geographies, build relationships with internal and external clients across multiple sectors, ensuring client service satisfaction.

The qualities that help you thrive

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering & ideally, 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and high quality technical and non-technical report writing.
  • Familiar with design standards and practices for civil infrastructure design (for example QUDM, Road Drainage Manual & Austroads).
  • Desirable – Experience in the detailed Design of Civil elements, including Civil Arrangements Design, Roadway/Carpark/Cycleway/Footpath Geometric Design, Stormwater Pit and Pipe Design (using 12d Drainage Network Editor, DRAINS or equivalent software), Stormwater Quality Assessment (using MUSIC software) PUP Conflict Assessment/Management, Design Management and coordination of multi-disciplinary design inputs.
