Job Description

Endeavour Tools is a leading wholesaler of automotive diagnostic / specialty tools. We are a family owned / long established company, supplying a range of leading automotive / industrial distributors in Australia / New Zealand.

We are headquartered in an industrial park in Scoresby and provide a friendly, positive working environment with plenty of on-road parking.

Due to ongoing and rapid growth, we are looking for team members to join our warehouse team on a part-time basis, 2 to 3 days per week. Our warehouse is a clean environment, and some heavy lifting of up to 20 kg is required, so the role is suitable for reasonably fit people.

The role involves key warehouse tasks including picking, packing, stocking shelves, making up kits, and helping with general tidiness. The role may also involve receiving training on freight dispatch processes and assisting with this.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Packing product for shipment
  • Making up product kits such as tool sets
  • Pumping oil into small bottles
  • Picking product from the shelves as per customer orders
  • Assisting with freight dispatch

Prior experience is not essential. A positive attitude, a good work ethic, and interest in learning new skills, is more important. The role is offered on a casual part-time basis for 2 to 3 days per week, but more shifts will be available from time to time to cover holidays taken by other staff. We welcome applications from candidates who can work the following hours:

2-3 days per week, for 7.5 hour shifts each day (Monday - Friday only):

  • For 7.5-hour shifts, work hours are 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, with 30 minutes lunch break

This is an ideal role for those who are looking for flexible hours between Monday and Friday and who can commit to working a 7.5 hour shift 2-3 days per week, but who also have some flexibility as to which days they work each week, as the days needed might vary from week to week.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and aptitudes:

  • Positive attitude and ability to multi-task
  • Efficient and quick in completing work
  • Sociable personality and ability to work well in a team
  • Good problem-solving skills – quick learner / inquiring mind
  • Basic computer skills (entering data into online forms, checking stock locations online, etc)
  • Legal right to work in Australia
  • Ability to converse easily in English
  • Valid Australian driver's license and access to a car
