The Opportunity

We are offering an exciting opportunity for experienced Landscape Gardeners and Landscapers to join our growing team. This casual role offers between 30-40 hours per week, ideal for individuals looking to expand their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. As part of iScape, you will handle not only garden maintenance but also various landscaping tasks, giving you a well-rounded experience in both areas. From lawn mowing to machinery operation and full-scale landscaping projects, every day brings something new and exciting

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform garden maintenance tasks: mowing, edging, weeding, mulching, planting, and pruning

• Handle a variety of landscaping tasks, such as paving, constructing garden beds, installing turf, and creating retaining walls

• Safely operate and maintain landscaping and garden machinery, including ride-on mowers, trenchers, excavators, blowers, chainsaws, and whipper snippers

• Install, monitor, and maintain irrigation systems

• Assist in site preparation and landscape design implementation

• Apply plant maintenance and landscape construction knowledge

• Perform weed control and follow work health safety practices

Essential Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in both garden maintenance and landscaping projects

• Proficiency in operating machinery (ride-on mower, push mower, trenchers, mini-excavators, blowers, chainsaws, etc.)

• Experience with irrigation systems installation, monitoring, and maintenance

• Capability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• High standard of work with problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• A current manual driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle

• A Certificate III or higher in Horticulture or Landscaping is highly regarded

• Suitable working rights in Australia
