Role Description

This is a part-time, 1 month job on-site role located in Beenleigh City, QLD, for a Switchboard Assembler. If another job is to be awarded during the work then the engagement will be extended. The Switchboard Assembler will be responsible for assembling and wiring switchboards according to specific layouts and diagrams. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical documents, using hand tools and power tools to assemble switchboards, testing assembled switchboards for functionality, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The role also includes collaborating with other technicians, troubleshooting any issues, and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and blueprints
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and components
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve technical issues
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in assembly work
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Relevant technical or vocational training is a plus
